PS5 - customization menu needs two inputs to move another car part

Thanks for replying. As a matter of fact, I have another controller and just tested it. The behavior is the same, but I found out something else. I hope I'm able to explain it.

At first when you enter the customization menu, if you move from part to part it works correctly, the issue appears when you "enter" some part that have a submenu or to the part selector. For example, the car plate, it has a submenu to change the text, plate background  and border, so if you press X on the car plate and enter the submenu, you need two inputs to move up or down on the option list. Then, if you exit that submenu with circle, you need again two inputs to change to another car part.

So I think that the issue appears mainly when you enter or exit parts options. It's like if after pressing X or circle you need to do a double input to keep moving around parts. 

I hope this info helps. It's a minor issue but maybe affect other menus of the game or other platforms too, so I thought it would be nice to let you know this.

I'm seeing this on Xbox Series X too. Uploading a video from in-game won't show anything as you can't see the buttons being pressed!

Repro steps:

1. Boot the game and enter single player
2. Once in the garage select "Rides"
3. Select Style
4. Select Body
5. Select Edit Body Parts
6. Navigate to the front bumper option and select it
7. Back out to the previous level where you select the car part
8. Attempt to navigate to another part of the car using either the d-pad or left stick
9. Note you will need to press the direction twice to move the selection
