Re: DX12 Error

The game crashed two times in one hour. First time on Auto settings in my first race. Then I tried to customize and lower the in-game graphics. 3 races went well but after that it happened again.

DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET ('The device failed due to a badly formed command. This is a run-time issue; The application should destroy and recreate the device.'). GPI: "AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT", Driver: 22.11.1

(22.20.29.07-221110a-385749C-AMD-Software-Adrenalin-Edition). This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers.

I've seen similar issues in games running DirectX12 but there is no setting option for choosing DirectX11.

Your not alone. Unfortunately a complex Issue. Lets hope EA send some help 🙂

Having the same issue on my 6700xt gpu
after 3 races the game lags then stutter hard then i get the directx error crash this is nuts can’t even enjoy the game properly

I just got a refund from steam. Apparently EA is just ignoring this problem. Too bad for such a big company which such a low customer service.

It happens exactly the same way for me too, it will run perfectly fine then out of nowhere the stutters start and then it eventually crashed out, I also got the Radeon RX 6700 XT and play at 1080p, its crazy to see so many people having this issue, I only hope it gets fixed because i really want to play the game, im glad this topic gained more traction than the one i started lol, they really need to see this is an issue
