Re: DX12 Error
Greetings!
I have Need For Speed Unbound on my gaming laptop (specs below). The first time I played with absolutely no problems at all. However, from the second day forward it keeps crashing when I launch the game, while in the "lobby", in the garage and every time I open the map for the first time.
I also discovered that my laptop runs the game perfectly without the charger plugged in. The moment I plug in the charger, it crashes as mentioned above.
This is the message that appears every time it crashes:
DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The GPU will not respond to more commands"). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060", Driver: 52756. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers. GPUBreadcrumbs:
I have tried:
- Deleting the Dx12 cache file (in Documents and Steam Apps)
- Updating the drivers (and reinstalling them as a clean install)
- Creating a gaming profile for the game with high performance settings
- Validating the game's files in Steam
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the game
My laptop's specs are:
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
- 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
- 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
Does anyone else has this problem?? Can anybody suggest me something??
Much appreciated!! Please help this post get noticed!!
