Re: HUGE FPS DROP VOL 7

I gave the dxdiag file.

Also, I play via EA Play on my laptop with 1650ti - i5 10300h and 32gb ram. While I could get 50-60 fps at 1080p resolution at medium settings, now I can get max 35, the game plays like slow motion, the CPU burns..

    Hi @2smokeTM, I wanted to check how this has been since launch does it continue to stay in the ~30 FPS range, or have you seen any improvement today?

    I don't play 30 fps anyway. It currently varies between 90-110. This is not the problem. The real problem was that it was 180 in vol 5, it dropped to 140 in vol 6, and now it has dropped to 90. With each update the game loses 40 fps. If raytracing was added to the game, this decrease is understandable, but if there was such a thing, there would be an option to turn it on or off in the settings.

    In addition, all the existing bugs of the game continue and new ones have appeared. For example, different class cars appear at the end of the race. This problem was also present in vol 3. B cars appear in the A+ drift race result list. We still cannot enter the race we chose in PVP, we choose BMW and drift opens, we choose drift and drag opens, we choose mixed and BMW opens. I don't know how you report it, but constantly adding new things without fixing existing errors makes the game even bigger mistakes. How many years have passed, we are trying to play the game in beta stage.

    @EA_Illium

    Here's something new.

    AMD FSR is useless. I get 122ps while waiting in the garage at 2k ultra settings, and if I turn on FSR/quality mode I get 122fps. Likewise, choosing medium or ultra settings does not make any difference in FPS. The reason is that the game overloads the CPU. Turning on FSR further reduces graphics card usage. This puts more load on the CPU. This causes a lot of bottlenecks.

    The game was literally wretched. And you are just looking at all these reported errors. Nothing is fixed. Patch after patch comes out and it gets worse.

    I now fall below 60 in night drift races. 55 fps is perfect with 500mbit internet, ryzen 5 5600x, 32g ram, 16gb 6900xt, pcie 4.0 nvme ssd(5500/5000)

    That game was seeing 180-190 fps, including vol 5. Even at the heaviest location, it did not fall below 130. No matter what was done, the game is dead.

    I am adding two examples.

    The first image is NFS HEAT. While waiting in the garage. 182fps native 2k (2560x1440). CPU usage 65% temperature 63 degrees.Core usage is also higher than unbound.

    The second image is Unbound. 127 fps and 2k FSR/Quality (1706x960) is on. CPU usage 50% temperature 65.

    Even though NFS HEAT uses more CPU, the heat is lower and it gives 50% more FPS at native resolution. Unbound gives less CPU usage but more heat and lower fps even though FSR is on.

    Also look at the graphics card usage, NFS heat is 97% and the temperature is 62 degrees (263w), unbound is also 97% but the temperature is 66 degrees(262w). In short, this game heats things up unnecessarily. Thats the problem.

    The CPU wattage consumption in both games is the same, 71 watts. How can less CPU usage and more heat be achieved with the same wattage consumption?

    Of course, there may be a difference between the technology of the two games, even if the engine is the same, but this situation started with vol 6 and got worse with vol 7. As I said, Unbound was getting 180-185 fps with FSR, native 145-150 fps before.
