Since this article seems to have been read by more people than expected, adding some extra information might be helpful. For those who haven't played Lake Shore Online much, there's a risky method worth considering: deleting all cars from your online inventory. However, I haven't tried this myself, so I can't take responsibility for any potential outcomes.
The main issue lies in the fact that even if you haven't removed all car wraps, there's a possibility they could be automatically equipped without your consent. I personally witnessed a strange occurrence only once. Upon entering the editing screen for a car from which I had removed the wrap, I briefly saw the removed wrap re-equipped before reverting to its previously removed state. Superficially, it may seem like the wrap has been removed, but in reality, it might still be equipped.
Sometimes, the synchronization between online and offline save files fails. I don't remember the specific error code, but it displayed something like 6 or 9.Stopping the synchronization immediately resolved the issue.
I might not have needed to sell the car. Now, I meticulously upload the save files manually every day. As a side note, I've also resumed relaxing in the offline mode.
This issue has occurred again. It seems to have been a known problem for quite some time. The solution is to restart the game.
While I could add additional information here, it was impossible to change the title to something more specific. Therefore, I created a new thread. I have provided more detailed information in that post. The new thread is here.
