I am also still experiencing these issues even with SSDP Discovery stopped, no Afterburner running or any of the other suggested workaround including running the game through steam. Happens infrequently, id say once every 30 minutes but SUPER frustrating when it happens. I'll go back to FH5 for now and hope this gets fixed a little later.

@General_RIMTI would first think in your case a usb device or a hdd is probably the cause. Is your device manager refreshing when it freeze ?

So I've done some testing and the Device manager doesn't refresh when the game's inputs freeze.

Good news! It only took them several months, but it looks like the upcoming update for Vol. 3 will be addressing this problem. In the patch notes for it under 'Client & Performance', the last bullet point reads:

• Fixed an issue that could cause vehicle input to become stuck whilst driving

I sincerely hope this is that's being discussed in this thread and we'll no longer have to depend on these funky workarounds that may or may not even work for people. Update comes out on the 20th.

Still after the Vol. 3 update, it happened again on my PC. I don't know a fresh install is worth to this game. I'll just try to play like this. 

i aint played this game since release cos of how poor it was on controller on PC so today i thought i revisit and nothing at all as changed haha same old ignores controiller and keyboard inputs.  EA just need to go bust now as there games are just trash
