Re: Online Game will not load. Selected car seen in menu preview is missing parts.

Hi @AlexDepauw, To check do you know how many cars you have in SP and MP?

  • Okay, I didn’t play SP beyond completing the story, I’d guess maybe a dozen there. Multiplayer I have nearly 30 cars. I’m not sure if it’s relevant but I did recently cap out my library of car wraps that I downloaded, which required me to delete a few in order to select a new one.

    Hey @AlexDepauw

To confirm for the number of cars you have in SP and MP would it be at or above 200? Also to check was there any changes with the game once you removed some wraps?

  • I don’t have anywhere near 200 cars. There are no more than 50 cars on my account between SP and MP. The whole process of modifying the game breaking car was buggy, including the part where I applied the wrap and it somehow appeared to unequip. However, everything I did was buggy so I can’t remember any further specific details. Can this be fixed or not?

    Hey @AlexDepauw

Thanks for the information, Generally trying to remove some warps or the total number of cars can help in specific cases.

As this doesn't seem to be the case we can try entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database if that does not allow you to load into multiplayer correctly then something might have happened with the save that led to it getting corrupted.

If this does not happen on a new save, then we may need to continue playing on a new save. Outside of that we can also see if any future updates change this for you.

    Thanks!

  • Sorry about the delayed response, I’ve been gone from home for work over the past 3 weeks, and I would to try your solution of rebuilding the database when I get home tomorrow. Hypothetically If this does not fix my problem, and you cannot guarantee an upcoming fix, I will be forced to reset my game. Therefore can I get reimbursed with ingame currency for all of the lost progress. I feel strongly that I deserve this, considering that I’ve purchased all DLC’s and many season passes under the influence that my 200 hours of in game progress would add value to the purchases. Without my progress, I’m entirely unmotivated to continue playing the game and utilizing the cars, not to mention that the season pass I purchased has been inaccessible all this time. I don’t mean to sound rude, this is a request and I understand if it’s not an option but I will want to seek a refund if this cannot be settled fairly. I really appreciate all of your time into this for me.

  • Rebuilding the database did not fix this issue. As you can see the car is still bugged
