[Rewards Bug]Having Issues with receiving rewards/payout after winning the race.

Summarize your bug I was doing my first few races for the story mode, as a new player and, just realized that, after the race before getting Alec's car storyline quest, the 30k race did not give me full payout, even though I clearly won the race by .03 of a second but, the game paid me for being second place which is 28.5k. Hopefully the screenshot provides enough evidence for the bug, But I do not have a footage of the race.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Maybe the game can't identify difference in small, very small .03 of a second difference is what I am assuming sometimes. Even though clearly I got first at the end screen.
What happens when the bug occurs? You don't get the full payout as you were supposed to, leading to future new players not wanting to play maybe, cause of less payout even if they won the race.
What do you expect to see? A better system to calculate whether end user has won the race or not, cause this is not even multiplayer, just the story part of it (aka. single player), so I assume it can be fixed. Hopefully the screenshots provided might help but, I do not have the footage with me where, the npc car and mine are next to each other before the finish line.
