Shadows & Depth of Field on Ultra tanks FPS

Product: Need for Speed: Unbound
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug Before the most recent patch, I had been able to run the game at 4K 60fps smoothly with all settings on ultra, DLSS off and VSync on. Now I have discovered that having either shadow quality or depth of field on ultra my frames get lowered to 30-45fps with reports saying my GPU is being used at 34-36%. With them both on high I am back at 4K 60fps with 41% GPU usage.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Shadow Quality or Depth of Field on ultra settings.
What happens when the bug occurs? FPS drops to 30-45fps and GPU usage decreases in the garage. In freeroam having these settings on ultra causes frames to become unstable varying between 52-60fps.
What do you expect to see? A bug fix.

PC Specs:
Nvidia 4090 RTX
Intel i7 12700k
Corsair Vengeance 32GB @ 3600MHz
240GB Kingston Sata SSD

I have had several performance issues with this game since release but have usually managed to perform my own fixes to enable the game to run smoothly again. However, this is one I am not able to fix and hope that a patch can be released soon.
