Stuck on the Side Bets screen

Before playing the campaign I played the multiplayer exclusively, completing all map activities and unlocking the cars that come with them.

I then started playing the campaign looking forward to using my newly unlocked cars in the story mode, I started a race. but my dreams were quashed because when I tried to start the race by pressing square on the side bets screen the game does not respond 

And the only way of leaving the side bets screen is by pausing the game. I believe that the unlocking of cars on before an otherwise scripted event broke the game and has halted all progression.

This is my third post addressing this big issue(I'm not the only one) because EA keeps deleting them 

Also I'm not deleting my progress I've grinded in a multiplayer way too long for that I'm afraid 

Exact same problem. Can't play the story. Some fix?

exat same for me. Before u start a race u have the option to place a bet on the other racers and doesnt pop u p the game kinda gets stuck and u can only get out by go to the options menu

I've had the same problem, the only solution I can find is to delete your saved data through setting > Storage > Saved Game Data > NFS Unbound. I'm not sure when the next big bug fix/patch will release, but I'm hoping its soon. It sucks but it's all I can think of

If you do this will you lose all your online progress as well?

Can't start event and get past the first side bet. 

I just started playing the game on PC.

After the first intro race you have to go to this meet up , when I click on event it gets stuck on the side bets thing where nothing but 2 NPC's and their cars show. I can't start event. Only the pause works. I am stuck and can't even play the game. Hitting the button to start event does nothing. 

I have tried updating all my graphics card and drivers, including removing and reinstalling them. I have tired reinstalling direct X, I have updated windows.

I have tried deleting my local save game data because if you go to multiplayer first it also seems to cause this glitch/bug.(I didn't go to multiplayer)

PC specs:

OS- Windows 11 pro

CPU- Intel i7 12700 

RAM-16GB DDR4 3200mhz 

Motherboard-Asus Z690 prime motherboard

GPU-XFX RX6700XT 12GB 

Game is on my boot drive which is a 512GB M.2 Nvme, gen 3  

Same problem on Xbox series X. So frustrating, I want to play the story so bad. I have online 100% so now I don’t have anything to do 

Yeah, its unfortunate, but I dont think the devs are gonna fix the issues anytime soon. It's been over month sol9nce the launch of Volume 2 and still content updates or bug fixes. Not sure what Criterion and EA are playing st tbf

Got Deluxe Edition via ea play.

After completed all online trophies and get all collectibles.

Went to Psn Store to buy the game.

Even the rivals button only appears after get touched with a cop and reset night and day. Now the Event is a little bit more westside and Button rivals appears but cant Start Event. 

My Garage have Bugs too... Cant modify or select a car. Only in the Event. 

ReInstall did not change anythings.

Think ea should fix it after weeks (Look at the forum post) or should refound... Otherwise Sony should take care of it because I paid for exactly nothing.... 

Just bought the game on Steam and I have the exact same problem. The game is not frozen, but the Side Bet screen is. Can't start the race, can't place bets, can't do anything.. is there any fix for this? The issue is up for a month now...
