Unable to unlock the New BMW M2 2023

Product: Need for Speed: Unbound
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug Successful Near Misses while being chased are not being counted towards the unlock requirement, making the car impossible to acquire
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unknown, it may vary from person to person, attempt to unlock the M2 and check if the counter for near misses while being chased is increasing, if not, the glitch is taking place
What happens when the bug occurs? No matter of it is a regular chase, Linkup, Gauntlet Race, or helping another player, doing near misses while in the chase doesn't count towards the challenge, making the new M2 Impossible to acquire.
What do you expect to see? a Hot fix to address this situation

Other attempts done to fix it:
-Changing sessions
-Changing Vehicles
-Attempted in Singleplayer
-Restarted the game

    Same problem for me

    Ps5 disc version

    Story Mode

    Haven't tried another account as I don't have one

    Wireless network

    Car showing in buy and sell but no challenge starting when in a BMW and being chased, and scoring way over 25 near misses.

    looking at the challenge list it is t there either. Really want to unlock this car but can’t , sooo frustrating

    Yes issue fixed on PS5, tested today. 

    The latest update fixed the issue. 

    Now I got my M2 unlocked for buying
