Unbound PC boots me to main menu when I enter garage

Product: Need for Speed: Unbound
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug I keep getting booted from online servers when trying to enter the garage
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I literally press X on my controller to enter the garage.
What happens when the bug occurs? I'll press X on my controller to enter the garage, then the game will display the loading screen for at least 30 seconds before I get booted back to the main menu and then have to reconnect to EA. This only started happening after the Vol.3 update.
What do you expect to see? I expect to hit the X button and not get booted back to the main menu.

After the Vol 3 update I have to pray to the gaming gods every time I try to enter the garage from free roam because it feels like more than half the time I get disconnected from the server and booted back to the main menu. I then have to reconnect to EA and then join a server all over again. Its gotten to a point that whenever I'm gaming with my friends I try to get any changes I want to do to my cars done before I enter free roam for the first time because I know I'll be disconnected if I try to re enter the garage and my buddies will have to exit the server and party up again because of me.

I've asked my friends if I'm laggy while playing and they say I'm not. My internet isn't the best, but I would think I would be laggy if my connection is bad. I'm not knowledgeable enough to figure this out for myself, does anyone know if this is fixable?

    Hello,



    I have exactly the same problem as bigdeano1991 since Vol. 7.
    I move around in free roam and I am afraid to change car because I will go straight back to the main menu!

    Whatever car modification I want to do I must to do it before leave the garage otherwise is an endless rejoin loop.

    Also my friends need to leave theirs session and rejoin the party for me.

    I am playing from a PC I validate steam files countless times, delete and reinstall NFS: Unbound and try EA app recovery clear cache and guess what nothing change!
    I use FTTH so it’s not an internet problem and everything on my computer is up to date.

    I also get this Error Code: FTCL5001 so currently I encounter 2 bugs and I can’t find any solution via EA forums / Reddit / YouTube.

    Can someone from EA / Criterion developers find me A REAL SOLUTION?

    I'm starting to have more hours loading and joining than driving around in Lakeshore Online.
