voice chat not working during cross play ps5/ xbox

Same with me 3 people, 2 on xbox and me on ps5, They can chat fine but cant hear me and i cant hear them. during gameplay my mic isnt even recognized and i verified it is working and functions fine on other games. I contemplated deleting game and reinstalling but im afraid it may cause more problems rather than solve the issue. due to all the issues the past few days this game will quickly lose players.
