1-3-1 power play strategy basically gone from franchise after the patch
the 1-3-1 power play formation is basically gone from franchise after the patch. I have tried creating a new franchise multiple times with multiple teams. Even with teams that run a 1-3-1 in real life. It just alternates between shooting or overload for the powerplay now. And none of the available coaches have the 1-3-1 as their preferred power play strategy. Sure I can set it as my power play formation for played games but it will never be your head coaches preferred strategy.
What I noticed was before the patch most of the coaches preferred power play strategy was blank. So most franchise saves we’re using the 1-3-1 set up as their preferred PP strategy. So it’s essentially gone for the user. Some CPU teams still seem to run it, but if you hire there coach it always comes out as shooting or overload.
Somehow they managed to break this with the last patch and now the one “BIG” add we get for franchise is gone.
