@Spawnessj Because AI shouldn't be a game changer for a mode that should be 6v6 humans. It's done like that on purpose.
@KlariskraysNHL I am not excepting them to be great let alone good but If we have to play with one AI defender on our team he should at least try and defend. He just lets people run right by or he is completely out of position.
I agree completely with what both you and Follisimo are saying. The problem is that once again EA has things completely backwards and make the AI TERRIBLE at defending the rush to the point you can literally straight line past them. But they are god tier at shutting down the cycle once a team is set up in the zone.
The AI shouldn’t be game changers at all and should be treated like they are crap, but at the same time, the way the AI is programmed punishes passing and team play, and favours one man shows, just like AI goalies do now as well. The developers honestly need to be replaced because the vision they have for this game is backwards in every way possible.
Tired of complete lack of skill being favoured in this series, and skill being punished. Gets worse and worse year after year as well
- Yeah, one thing I can't stand are teams that depend on the CPU defenders to consistently bail them out. A lot of teams act like they don't but they do, while complaining when they don't.. then they cherry pick (and you cut off the pass because you know what theyre doing) and they call for the puck and the CPU throws it off the boards perfectly onto their stick, and you wonder why you play with human D that can't do that, and can't intercept passes as well.. this game changed all that. I don't like that they limited the defense abilities however, I love that they made a good human D man EXTREMELY important. Clubs gotta start finding D men and/ or two way centermen.
