@kgreene0829 I’ve been asking for these changes for years. EA has totally botched this aspect of franchise mode. Forward prospects also never get “carry” “efficient” and “don’t block” as player preferences. Rendering offensive coaches useless. Defensemen prospects also never get “balanced/balanced” as a preference.
The coaching/strategies/player preferences mechanics are a train wreck and in need of a ground up rebuild. Which will never happen.

Yeah I only play franchise mode and it just ruins the game for me don’t know if I will buy the game next year
- @kgreene0829 There’s definitely no point in buying the game next year since it will just be the same regurgitated mess that we’ve had since NHL 21. It’s such a shame because franchise mode was going in a decent direction in 17-20 but then it just fell of the face of the earth especially once they introduced those crappy X factors
