Hey guys,anybody else have issues with the vibration? The controller vibration does not work at all, tried with two controllers same issue for both. Seems like a similar issue to last years issue.Edit: Seems like an issue with the Elite Controller 2 - works only when during game when I manually disconnect it and connect back. EA needs to fix this.

I'm also having this same issue with the elite controller 2. It was an issue for me in NHL22 as well. Hard resets of the Xbox do not fix the issue, and trying the disconnect and reconnect in the select teams page only changes my controller from player 3 (green) to player 2 (blue) but cannot get to player 1 (red).

Update: able to reproduce the problem and come up with a fairly consistent fix. Which sort of points to the problem already (surprised the devs haven't figured this out?)Fix (seems to work for me - need more testing to see how consistent)1. Restart of console (not "turn off console". It seems that the XB Series X "turn off console" is more of a sleep mode unless you actually pull the power plug)2. Start NHL 233. In the game, when it comes to the controller selection, resync the controller (press the connect button on the console and controller). 4. After resyncing, your controller is finally the red controller.I did this last year for NHL 22 and it seemed to work. So I'm pretty certain it's the devs reusing code.EA, please make it a priority to patch the game for the controller issue! It's been over a year already!Edit: for Devs, I have the latest game updates, latest firmware, latest console updates. Everything's been updated. Every other game works fine EXCEPT NHL 22 and NHL 23. No problem on other EA games using Frostbite either (e.g. Battlefield 2042) - I don't have FIFA or Madden so I can't check either.

@EA_AljoThis is a horrendous response to an issue thats over a year old. This game should have something as simple as controller vibration, any random indie $10 dollar game in the shop has working vibration.And this seems to be one of the most constantly talked about issues, there are 4 topics on this forum alone filled with people asking for this to be addressed.Its also worth noting, the glitch itself isn’t just a vibration issue, its directly related to the phantom controller issue which is causing many other in-game problems. They need to fix the phantom controller issue asap.

@Initialize_0789 Same issue here. Xbox series X standard controller that came with the system. Same issue last year too...

I’ve been having this issue since nhl 22 as well with regular series x controllers. Sometimes a hard reboot to my console fixes it, but most of the time there’s no vibration at all. I thought this was a known issue so I assumed a fix was being worked on, but here we are in 23 and it’s still an issue

I believe this was an issue with the Elite 2 previously. Unfortunately, it's not something we've been able to reproduce and we receive very few reports about this. We'll keep an eye out for more, but the best I can suggest is to make sure your controller's firmware is up to date.

Yes firmware is up to date, its weird its like there is two controllers but only one is plugged in and causes the controller not to vibrate did not have this issue with NHL 22 .
I did try to do a few things a hard shutdown on Xbox One X, cleared the cache also and same issue.

Tested plugged in, does the same thing, only solution ive found for now is once you choose what team or side disconnecting the controller and reconnecting it makes it that the red controller is the first one and not the 2nd blue one.
Going to try to uninstall and reinstall the whole game tomorrow to see if that resolves it.

I don't think uninstalling and reinstalling will help, but it's worth a shot. It's odd since we get so few reports of this. That just makes it a lot harder to track down. Does it happen to make a difference if you the middle button activated for choosing a controller profile?

Yep tried to change profile, makes it worse add an 3rd controller, weird issue, going to uninstall and reinstall the game and see.
