Couch co-op for HUT seasons? Competitive online vs play?The last 2 games decided to exclude any competitive couch co-op play. Since removing HUT seasons, there has been nothing meaningful for the co-op players of the game....in the tag line it says to grab your friends and get ready to play...any news on whether I need to pre-order this game for my buddies and I or has couch co-op and having a few beers with a buddy while playing online competitivley gone extinct?Any news would be appreciated!

@TTZ_Dipsy Thank you! I think it’s missed by a lot of players. Co-op is something that should be back in the game. There is no need to punish the co-op players by taking it out of the game.

@Thunderjunk94 In these covid/post covid days they should have that as well as online coop on HUT. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to not have it. FIFA has in on rivals and has had for lots of years.

Absolutely agree. Taking it out after NHL 20 was very disappointing. Nothing more fun than having a few beers with a buddy, ripping some packs open and building our HUT team the way we wanted. Trying to climb the ranks in Online seasons was great. I really hope it’s back in this year. It’s make or break for me. Haven’t purchased the game in 2 years bc the co-op players were no longer important. Really hoping that’s fixed this year.

@Badeskum1 I was told co-op was removed due to community feedback the last few years, which basically means the "game breakers" EA NHL gets feedback from (streamers and what not) do not want co-op players in their rankings in HUT Seasons.
It's funny because my cousin and I would play several times a month and try and climb leaderboards, rip packs, have a few beers and have a great time. If certain players don't want to play 2 people, they can just exit. It makes no sense to take it out of the game. Why punish the co-op players??

@Thunderjunk94 Just do what FIFA does, make it a filter in matchmaking. And if you dont find an opponent in x amout of time kt opens for online/couch coop players. That must be better than not finding anyone?

@Badeskum1 with the crossplay there would be tons of players who want couch co-op. It needs to be in the game. I haven't played in 2 years. I miss Saturday nights with some beers and some HUT seasons!!!

you needed to push ONE button to change your search preferences from extended (two players +)exact (one player only).so streamers were too lazy to push ONE button that`s why Ea removed it
