Do Screens Matter This Year

It's very rare for the commentators to mention a screen - It used to play more of a role in whatever game it was where they completely reworked height/weight, and net battles (they used St. Louis and Char in the promos), but it has little effect now.

No point in really going for screens/tips anyway with how horrible goalies are.

This. Vision does way too much this year that it basically makes screens ineffective probably 95-99% of the time.

Another one of those things where there is zero balance in the game and everything is pushed to an extreme. 

Also offline you can tune goalie screen effects to the max and it doesn't ever seem to work on just shots unless the shot goes through legs. That's with zero goalie reaction time on shots and 100% shot power. 

It will affect goalies though if passes go around screens.

I agree with this. I constantly shoot aroumd in practice mode and no matter the sliders, goalies find the puck. Ive played about 100 6s games in CHEL and I can count the point shot goals ive seen, on one hand.
