EA's Priorities
Rather than taking the True Broadcast thread off topic, I thought it best to create a new thread for this. @EA_Aljoyou were talking about different teams within the NHL team working on different a...

You stated that you, yourself, are unconcerned with presentation. You only care about the gameplay being authentic - and I am guessing that the majority of the dev team feels just like you do. They don't care about presentation - they probably don't care about offline play. They are creating a game that simply fits their needs and they don't have the perspective that a lot of your customers have.
That is my personal feeling. It has absolutely nothing to do with how everyone else feels. I was just using myself, a fan of the game, as to what my personal priorities are when someone commented that the game was ruined for everyone because of the changes to presentation. What I personally like about the game does not speak for everyone here. I get into some very competitive gameplay so I'm not noticing presentation as much due to my immersion in the actual gameplay. For example, I turn off all the music, I skip cut scenes and the commentary is turned way down. I like to focus on gameplay alone. I barely even touch my EASHL player other than the actual build.
We all have different likes and dislikes. Please don't assume that everyone here feels the same as I do.
Thank you for all the feedback. I just wanted to clear this one part up.

@EA_Aljo While your personal preferences may not necessarily reflect upon the dev team - the direction of the game points in that direction and you struggle to get them to give answers; I'm sure you lack the power to single-handedly direct game development. Therefore, your preferences must be common among the dev team or with whomever is in charge.
I had assumed that of the team before you mentioned your preferences. Your sharing your preferences were just a point to tie to, not something I've built my understanding of the dev team upon.
I'll say it again, my preferences are my own and do not reflect the dev team at all. You're certainly entitled to your assumptions, but they are simply not true.
Howdy all. Friendly reminder that you're free to point out issues with the game (and there are definitely many), but I wanna say Aljo is relaying your feedback with the team and to maybe redirect your frustrations to the higher ups calling the shots.
