Error failed to retrieve data message

Attempt to play any feature in the game…online, squad battles, hut challenges. It pulls up my current lineup, but it crashes with this error when attempting to load in the selected game feature

Try creating a new lineup with the same players. Make sure you set it to active. Then, try again and let me know what happens. Thanks!

@EA_Aljo Yeah, that doesn’t work. Has anybody had a solution for this error code?  Does EA just want to refund me 50% the money I spent on this game?  I couldn’t play in GWC. I can’t play the game now.

Is it only HUT where you get this error?

A couple of things to try would be to rebuild your database with the steps here. Also, restore your licenses with these instructions. After that, power cycle your equipment with these steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know what happens. Thanks!

I juste want to say that this is happening to me and my friends to. I don't think it's isolated. WOC gives us this error when we try to play in club.

Are you playing NHL 23 or 24? You posted in the NHL 23 forums.

NHL 24 sorry my mistake. Although me and my friends realized is it's in relation with the 3 of us. We tried to play togheter in other modes besides club in chel and we can't play with the one who receives this message. We found that if we all close our xbox x an unplug them for 5 minutes we are then able to play togheter... I mean it's very bad that we have to do that but it'll do until this is fixed...

Is it just one person that is receiving this message, but the others are getting kicked when it happens to them?
