If we are in the club lobby and he tries to enter, he gets the message. If he gets into the club lobby before us, we both get the message. (chel) The other members, we can play togheter with no problem though. It really seems to be coming from his side.

Does he have a custom gamerpic? If so, have him switch it to a default one. This has caused some odd behavior like this in the past. If that doesn't help, have them change up all their customization options. Gear, head, etc. Possibly, something is bugged and causing this to happen.
I have the same issue. Could play yesterday and now not at all. Only difference is my error code number.
I am also having the same issue, my game will load and allows me to play after several reboots, but the last two online games I won did not count towards my daily rewards or any XP earned. I was able to claim the 2 wins in a row packs, but no points earned or movement in rank. I don't want to play more games until it is resolved so I don't waste time with no rewards. Any idea if when issue is fixed we will get our achievements for already played games?
I'm getting the same error on PS5 when trying the get into an online versus game. Haven't changed anything with my team or settings. Worked yesterday but can't get into a game today.

What console are you both playing on? Is this only happening in HUT?
I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!
I am playing NHL23 on PS5 and solely play HUT. It does not impact my Squad Battle games, but it does for my Rivals games. No daily reward acknowledged of the game played, no coins received, and no XP received on Rivals. I just attempted to connect and after rebooting my PS5 I got this error.

Exactly when is this happening? You said you get this when attempting to connect. Is it when the game first launches, when loading into HUT or a Rivals game?
So the error has been happening when I go back into the NHL game after switching apps and trying to connect, even after closing the game, but eventually goes in after a few attempts (at least 3 each time), but the Rivals games rewards, coins, and XP has been happening every time and now both for close to 24 hours now.

I've seen odd behavior in the past when you switch between apps without closing out the game. If you completely close it down, does this still happen? Did you also power cycle your modem/router?
