Gameplay in HUT Offline needs some adjustment in my oppinion.All Goalies, wheather they are Top NHL Goalies or Bronze Goalies are making dozens of Supersave per Game.Played some Games in Hut Challenge against Goalies on Rookie Level.Even on this Level they are making one Supersave after another.

I think they are broken! They're not supposed to do desperate saves on every perfect plays even at rookie! Squad Battles and challenges are a pain! Sadly, if you are mainly an offline player you might skip 23... EA didnt care for you on this one!

YOU need a big challenge, YOU are so good, YOU score a lot of goals in any mode... The problem is that you're not the only one playing this game. Not everyone who is as good as you. It is for these reasons that there are different difficulties in RUSH and SB and different divisions in Rivals.What you're being told, which you seem to completely ignore, is that for a lot of people who are used to it with some degree of difficulty over the last two or three years, they have a lot of difficulty, not because of the game, but only because of the goalies who seem to completely ignore difficulty levels and their stats. It's not normal that a 65 goalies at rookie in a mode like RUSH can execute so many supersaves like those in Rivals or at Superstar in SB. It has nothing to do with the challenge! It's about everyone being able to play at the level of difficulty that suits them. Right now, goalies are ignoring all the rules! Even if a 65 goalie is slower, he'll still dive to stop pucks he shouldn't! It is not normal!Maybe you're having fun, but a lot of people less talented than you are just looking for a game and a level they can beat without having to play 30 hours a week. You want a challenge? You can play Rivals in higher division or Hut Champs but why people who just enjoyed rookie mode can't play at their level?

This thread was about the goalie save animation being otherworldly and I gave my opinion on it. I like it and don't feel that it is making the game unplayable. It simply looks different and those goals that we learned to pull off in 22 aren't as easy in 23. This is a very good indication that EA actually did give us a different game than before.Yes, my opinion but no less worthy of those you summarized. And far from the opinion of an 'expert' and definitely NOT an Influencer.I have felt that EA has gone out of their way for players like me by creating Squads and RUSH and giving us the ability to get the online feel without having to actually go online. Squads is a mode for us that can't compete with the online community and I wouldn't be buying or playing the NHL video game without it. It is basically the only mode I play unless required for an objective. Squads and RUSH are very much a balance in the game. The elite player can go play Rivals and Champs and the rest can get similar play and rewards with these offline modes.

@Trisixty66 My goalies it got x-factor vasilevski and shesterkin both 86 and they sometimes let every shot trough it seems! I got 11 rival games in a row a goal against with the opponents first shot or pass even 2 times and you can‘t get the players fast enough to interrupt or do anything against! But then they bring new thing and let it like this very nice maybe they should fire their programmers and hire some they want to make a good game and not such a mess of faults 😂

@Jeff_frm_Edmonds I'm completely fine with a goalie making an awesome save [like Jones did last night at the "Climate Pledge Arena"] but it's a completely different scenario when a goalie stands on his head and goes into Jesus Mode making saves almost EVERY time, that are so unrealistic that you don't know if it's a hockey game you are playing or "Final Goalie Fantasy XXIII".

I'm all in for a good challenge but especially from a low rated goalie you should not expect saves like a 80+ goalie could deliver. At least not on a regular basis.

I think, that the team and player ratings are off again and need to be looked at. A 68-rated goalie should not perform like a 80+ goalie and vice versa.

I just player RUSH 3x3 on remote and still picked up 4 goals.
Are you honestly saying you're not scoring goals? If I'm netting goals with all the remote play lag you have to be scoring too.
I honestly don't see the problem with it.

I'm hitting up RUSH during this tread because I'm remote and those games don't matter if I lose due to the lag. RUSH is also the mode that I saw one of the influencers complain about not being able to score in even on Rookie so I making it a point to play it after work today to test. I don't go lower than Pro because I don't want to lose that multiplier.
I'm noting that the 'super saves' are coming off what are often referred to as the 'glitch goals' and what all the influencers tell others to use. If I can get any left stick movement I'm scoring fairly regularly. I am getting jammed a lot in the corners by the D if I try that move or the one where you cut off the high circle into slot. If I can play catch up top for a few passed the D breaks down a bit and I've been able to get the puck lower and get on net. Backhands have been rock solid for me too.
I am noting that the new 'last chance' animation (which I love) is causing a lot of disallowed goals on rebounds and batted pucks (which I also love). One-timers are still going good but I am noting that I have to execute it a bit higher again like last year.

@Jeff_frm_EdmondsI see, that it is very important to you being able to play this game "remote" and I very much adore that, yet I beg to differ that the "last chance animations" are causing anything. To each his/her own.

Not very surprised by your answer. I tried to summarize the opinion of several average players because you gave your opinion only on your experience. Not much openness from many people in this community, especially good or elite players. This game will never improve until there is a balance between good or elite players and casual players. EA always seems to prioritize elite gamers and streamers. Often you forget that the majority of people who buy the game are average gamers at best.
