Help Please - Rivals is all jerky, keeps freezing etc..
Please can someone help. I'm not very good at explaining things but Rivals keeps freezing for 1-2 seconds while I am playing then whizzing these last 1-2 seconds back in rapid motion (fast forward and all jerky). Its all like this all through the Rivals game, it can have short moments when things are settling then the problem returns. The game as 2 player online is near unplayable with any puck control, but all the other game aspects (eg Squad Battles) play perfectly and NHL 23 is my favourite game. Its been like this for a few days. Is this something with my internet ? Or is it a fault on the EA servers and they are aware ?
This is a very common issue with wireless connections. Unfortunately, without testing a wire, we can't rule that out. Would it be possible to somehow move within a wire's reach just to test this? I definitely understand the feeling that if other games as well as streaming don't have any issues, it seems NHL should work as well, but that's really not the case as every game is different. Streaming also has a buffer so unless you lose connection, chances are excellent you won't see an interruption when there's moments of packet loss.
