These games happen about 7 times out of 10 and we normally leave the game when a team attempts 12 cross creases in a matter of 10 min. Also there’s the wrap around shoot far side glitch that’s being abused, self sauce, the AI D men just letting the little forwards blow by them and the east backhand forehand goal. Every. Single. Time. I seriously haven’t seen anyone do anything besides that move. AI plays like a potato, skates into other teams AI, holds on to the puck for too long. Like this game is a mess and 1 patch isn’t going to fix it

I fully agree the AI is garbage and the game needs a major overhaul but judging from your overall record, it seems like your team might be making a few wrong choices and/or using unoptimized builds.
As annoying as it can be, I think its still possible to play a real style of hockey while adapting to the meta
A bunch of our losses are us leaving because of how bad the glitch abuse is. Record literally doesn’t matter in this game because no one plays the same because people get rewarded for abusing the glitches. Our load outs are fine and can produce when played against other hockey simulation players, but abusers are killing the fun in this game. We’ve tried having a human play D but it’s so repetitive, frustrating and ultimately fruitless. They still abuse glitches or they’re under 6 foot less than 180 and no matter what defensive scheme you try they always zip around your d for an easy break away goal. This game is the furthest from a hockey simulation, hockey arcade game more like it.

Can you post a clip of what you deem to be 'glitch abuse'?
So you playing 3v3 or 6v6 EASHL? And all the things you listed as your problems have been in the game this whole console generation. It's also why playing with AI in a mode that is meant for all humans will result in a bad time. Humans can counter humans but when you need to rely on an AI and you chase into their area and they go crazy and get exploited.
- TheUnusedCrayon3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Zero2113 You shot every 10 seconds. How could that possibly be a simulation? You don't get that many shots with setting up plays, you're basically shooting from everywhere and hoping a random puck goes into the net. You're never going to win games that way unless you luck out or the other team's defense is so bad that they allow you to the net. Quality over quantity.
No we set up plays, they just didn’t have any defense because their guys would always start taking off as soon as one of their AI gets the puc
- @TheUnusedCrayon 45 shot games happen in hockey too btw. It’s when the opponent has 4 goals on 6 shots, those being on the rush cross crease passes. And it shouldn’t matter how many people we play with or against the game it SHOULD be a balanced game, but it isn’t and it’s sad because I love hockey but hate what EA has mutated it into
- @KlariskraysNHL Shouldn’t matter, game should be balanced but it isn’t because the creators probably don’t even play the game while making it and after releasing it because if they did. They’d do something about the glitches and the potato AI

I get that 45 shot games happen, but that doesn't mean both sides need to have the same amount of shots or goals. There have been many real-world games where the losing side has a much higher amount of shots. Just because one side takes advantage of breakdowns in defense and happens to score more goals on less shots, there's nothing wrong with that. Just like putting a high amount of shots on net against a goalie that's tough to beat. If you're constantly getting beat on the rush from cross-crease one timers, play a more conservative defense so those can be better defended.
