- TheUnusedCrayon3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Zero2113 If they didn't play any defense then why couldn't you score then? I recommend showing where the shots are being taken from as well. That have the shot locations that you can screenshot as well.
I am definitely not going to debate you on the ai though. The ai is horrific. At some point though it's on you if you see them cheating the zone with multiple guys to have one of your guys back at all times. Offensively the ai are fine, so you can run with them up front to replace you and essentially switch positions but if you're getting abused with somebody cheating the zone and you don't adjust your strategy then you kind of earn your loss.
Is it 3s or 6s you're playing? Sounds like 3s. - @EA_Aljo Yeah but when the opposing team legit does nothing but cross crease? Defensive sliders don’t help. You’d know if you played instead of sit here and tell me what I’m seeing is “how hockey is” when the opposing team every.single.rush cross creases. Play the game and see how ridiculously broken it is.
- @TheUnusedCrayon We play 6’s and it’s 2 of us, been playing like that for years. Shouldn’t matter how many human players we have, it should be balanced, but it isn’t. It’s sad because the game rewards sweaty glitch abusers while leaving the people who love the sport frustrated because EA is catering to them.
@TheUnusedCrayonWe’ve also adjust strategies, sliders still nothing. Game is potato much like the AI and not to mention how the cross play is going to break the game 🤣 can’t wait

I absolutely play this game. My team hasn't had trouble with crpss crease plays, but I also play defense so we don't rely on the AI players. We see more teams attempting far side wraps and rebounds than anything else. Regardless, I set the defensive strategies to high pressure and my AI D man ends up being very active while I tend to play more conservatively so we're able to stop the high majority of these chances. If your AI defenders are giving up these chances too much, you'll need to have a forward drop back and play more defensively.
- @EA_Aljo Already play passively doesn’t do anything, doesn’t deter them from attempting the cross crease at least 4 times in the zone just circling the net. Not trying to sacrifice what little fun I have playing this game by playing passive because of people abusing glitches and how bad this game really is. The game is trash, the Ai is trash, the people who make this game have 0 idea how to make an actual good sports game

We really haven't been getting a lot of complaints about cross-crease goals. Other than the drastic reduction in them. I definitely get that you're more susceptible to these when playing with AI defenders, you're also clearly dominated this game and still lost. Your opponent is taking advantage of the opportunities given to them when your team is having far more of those and haven't been able to match or exceed their scoring. Regardless of the AI, it might be good to try a different offensive strategy.
You're also welcome to post some video so we can all see just what's happening. I'll pass it on to the team as well.

If your opponent is constantly trying this method of scoring, then shutting it down should become routine.
If you find that 'boring' - that's not on the developers. That's a consequence of teams not willing to or not able to utilize different methods of scoring.
@Zero2113Wrong answer. The game is meant to be determined by the humans interactions over that of the AI. Community asked for positioning of the AI in EASHL but wanted them to be less of a factor in determining a game.
You're playing 2s so that explains a bunch imo. Even back in the PS360 days 2s was full of the most sweat and they prefer to play the AI because you can manipulate them. They were the players who would post in the chatbox about 500 games played and like 4,000pt forwards looking for another.
Programming has limitations and the more AI you have the more the experience will be bad. I haven't found a game yet where the AI isn't exploited unless they are made godlike who then win you games instead of bad human play.
- @KlariskraysNHL I think that the community want more than just AI defensive positioning. Just AI that can play smart. Shouldn’t be hard to program, doesn’t help that EA copy and paste the same code every year
