@Sabrija08Not that I needed to know this, because I have tried it before, but I just uninstalled the game. Re-downloaded it. Unplugged my ethernet, signed out, loaded the game from scratch (original menus), chose not to sign in and not save data. Went to Offline Free Skate, where I test it normally..........and it's normal. I don't think I've ever tried it not signed into some account, even an alternate. Not that it matters because the point is to sign in online and play.
It's so painfully obvious that it's a Cloud issue, or something with the Cloud interacting with the Xbox itself. It would be nice if it got the attention it deserved. THE ISSUE IS IN NEON LIGHTS. IF this doesn't bring us closer to some actual solution, then we'll never get one.

Kept my Xbox running for 2 hours while away. Came back, still worked fine. Fast, no delay OFFLINE.
Plugged my ethernet cable in, signed in online, reloaded the game (given choice between loading system and cloud; I've tried both, doesn't matter), instantly felt heavier OFFLINE.
I've created a new account before, so it's not limited to my main tag. It's practically bludgeoning us over the head with what the issue is.

i asked every streamer on twitch today, every single one, if they also have the same problems, more than half answered yes.. i asked them why they don't write it here then they are all quiet. Because then they will not get the game for free next year 3-4 weeks before release. EA knows how to "buy" people and they are silent. According to my estimate, the game is not working for more than half of the community, but unfortunately this problem will not be fixed because everyone is silent

They do speak up. Just not on these forums. We've seen their reports on this topic as well. They most often provide very detailed and constructive feedback so we always welcome both positive and negative input on the game.
- 3 years ago@EA_Aljo here we go again - do not play it smart, please. Do not abuse it with words such as "constructive feedback". We do not have time to provide you with constructive feedback. It's not our job. This is not a role playing game in beta.
The feedback this deserves and we have time for -> "It's slow!!"

I don't play NHL23 but FIFA23 and there are people which suffer from the exact same input lag issues including me. Started for me on January 2022 and has never ended. I tried to change like every setting
- Router
- PS5
- Monitor (1ms, 144hz)
- FIFA
- PSN
- PSPlus cloud synch
- etc.)
- different ISPs (around 10)
- VPN via VPS with wireguard installed on it
- VPN (7 in total, premium provider and I made use of the 30 days refund guarantee
- 5G Hotspot with my phone
My ISP sent and techncian to check my connection. He exchanged the phone box even though all the values that has been measured were fine. Nothing changedSince FIFA23 and NHL23 both run on the same engine and probably use the same Servers it's not unrealistic that the source of the problem is identical.
So yeah I hope your track is the right one and that this could also mean a fix for me.
