It's interesting to me how much we see about complaints of online modes as breeding grounds for toxicity and abuse. It would seem that would turn players back to offline modes where the developers and higher ups give little to no attention because it doesn't bring in extra revenue. It's exactly what happened with me. I played online for a long time and it became unbearable and 0 fun so I just got into franchise mode and never looked back. I don't know exactly what the numbers are or what the actual ratio is of online to offline players, but to me offline play is vastly more important than online play. Though it's just my two cents on the matter.

I think you would see a small hike in franchise play if they made that online. I personally can't get into single player game modes unless that progress translates to an online mode (like 2K) I also feel no real satisfaction beating the cpu. They were created to be beaten, they also have lots of flaws in their logic that countless people take advantage of.
