How is a game with cross-play less than 2 months after release dead already with majority of its users being die-hard buy the game every year type of fans???
It's brutal! I only had played the trial for NHL 23 on PSN. My friends club I play on we haven't even bothered with buying the game. Much rather wait until it eventually goes on down in price. $50 CDN still is hefty for us given the state of the game right now.

I don’t know why you guys play ONLINE anyway ?
I never, ever play online and to me 23 is a blast to play right now…. Been playing since it came out.

@PernellKarl027I'd love to play offline but the AI gets super repetitive and worse every year. I used to love to tune the game to create realistic sliders and there was one year where you couldn't tune the pass interceptions to actually work properly and that killed all the fun I had. Want to say it was NHL 21.
And now seeing how the AI is even more passive than ever I can't imagine I'd be able to tune that out this year.Edit: plus combine that with things such as coaching/systems issues, not being able to customize as much, the bugs I read about, etc. it sounds like it has steadily regressed each year since NHL 20.

@TheUnusedCrayon Man you are missing something in 23… It blows 20 out of the water… And trust me I’ve played every version of NHL since 94, lol !..I don’t know if we are allowed to link something from another site ?
But I’ve worked really hard to bring the OFFLINE experience to the next level, sliders, roster, settings… For me and guys that are jumping on the train, it’s a "gamechanger" IMO… Like I said, now with these settings, NHL23 is on another level in my book 😀
Take a look if you want… PernellKarl076 NHL23 Hardcore Sliders
Peace !
