Nhl 23 error

Same issue with madden 23. Just bought it from the store and haven’t played it yet

Same issue. Bought the game on sale.  Can't play online. I was able to get to the menu screen after disconnecting internet (only offline available)  soon as I hook up internet get the white screen. I was able to live chat with ea sports and I tried everything to fix the problem. Deleted game re installed ... restart modem blah blah blah. Nothing worked. They said from there end and other people having this issue and to be patient. Screw them. They got our money and they don't care. ... ima try to call playstation store tomm to get a refund.  

I hate ea sports bunch of money grabbing hungry &@^@%

Login to help.ea.com with PlayStation network credentials. 

go to account security and turn off login verification. 

this will only work for family manager, as far as I can tell. 

this is apparently a bug in the latest nhl23 update. Ea servers must not be able to recognize the device or they are down. 

when fixed, reverse and turn verification back on.

Upon starting the game during the “connecting to EA” screen, the game crashes. We get the message “Something went wrong. WV-109156-2” and then the following text in the top left corner of the screen… ERROR: 0x00000023 SSLError: 0x00000000 SSL connect error -PS5 System Software is up to date - NHL 23 is updated -Closing the Game and restarting PS5 does not solve the problem. It seems EA are having issues with their servers as it only (and always) happens when “reading save data”. Shame i cannot play the game offline. There’s no way to get into the game anymore.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just try to open the game on PS5. It never starts because it crashes upon trying to establish a connection.
What happens when the bug occurs? It crashes. The only way to get out of the error message screen is to force shut down the application.
What do you expect to see? I expect it to connect and show me the main menu.
