Please add "full broadcast" back to options!
This game's presentation is similar to watching a condensed game online! There's not production value in the games anymore! How did this change get approved? Hardly any stadium shots, instant replays...

@trunkfu I can almost guarantee there won’t be one… as EA Kent said.. it’s “intentional”… they just want to take things away and make you literally pay $$$ for it
This is one of the biggest gags EA has ever pulled, and that's saying something for a dev team that recycles its own features after a few years and pitches them as "new".
The "all new", "revamped" presentation barely shows and EA *intentionally removed full broadcast settings*. Huh? How does the conversation into that decision even go?
Dev 1: "We're going to totally re-do presentation and make it more immersing than ever. And we're gonna never show it."
Dev 2: "Genius."
Dev 1: "Totally. I think we're nailing it here."
It's not even a copy and paste job either. The resolution is actually worse on Xbox One. Jersey numbers are fuzzy, colors are more mismatched, almost no goalies have updated pad colors. In Franchise, I've had to edit several teams already. Why am I doing this?
Aside from a couple "last chance" animations and new equipment, NHL 23 is less of a game than NHL 22. I feel stupid for buying it.
- @ztff1afr2oy4 They probably finished the migration to the new systems, because it has much better quality graphics on the PS5 than NHL 22 did. NHL 22 looked the same on both the PS4 and PS5. But optimized for the new systems means it isn't optimized for the older systems.
- @VeronicatheCD I dont think EA realizes that we wont be "Making the push to NHL 24" if they cant make 22 and 23 right
EA really needs to add this back to the game. They shouldn't be touching an NHL 24 until they give us what was promised this year. That said, I know and I think deep down everyone here knows, that EA will not listen to us, they do not care as long as the dollar bills are flying in through HUT packs.

Bought the game for my son…he shelved it ..told me why, I really didn’t believe him.
Broadcast was virtually gone- replays were gone- all the stuff EA said was going to be in 23 were not there.
Lol..then they took out the True Broadcast camera - what irks me is they removed the OPTION to use it..
Sad…I can’t get my money back, online order - he plays 19 I think…what a screwed up development team..lol
Wont be investing money into EA Hockey again!
