It's hard to keep it "constructive" when we have already given them a ton of constructive feedback regarding this presentation issue and they don't provide any communication in return. How are we to know if what we're saying is going anywhere or if it's all a facade and ultimately they don't care? If they want us to keep it completely constructive then maybe they should actually TRY COMMUNICATING so we have at least an idea of what is going on or what is being worked on. When Aljo and others say "keep it constructive" but then we don't hear anything about what is being fixed and/or subsequent game releases have the same issues, then of course we are going to be more likely to start venting and being less "constructive". So come on EA, get it together, and start letting us know if you're at least trying to fix the presentation that you somehow broke.
EA chooses not to engage. They have people assigned to communicate with us, but they don't ever give them any useful information. They are not dialoguing with their customers and it is going to prove to be catastrophic next year. I wouldn't be surprised if they see a giant fall off in sales for 24, despite fixing some of this stuff in the new title - because we feel cheated - then they hold off on NHL 25 and do that year off thing like 2K did with the WWE series. However, they won't recover for many years to come. Why? Because their customers are upset and frustrated with EA's response. EA messed up royally and is doubling down on it. The fact they locked the thread is a PR disaster in itself. It's been too long without the issues being fixed or being worked on. Quite frankly, that thread was extremely constructive on our end, even if it was complaining and would seem otherwise nonconstructive, because it was a clear gauge of just how problematic that change was. They may not like hearing it, but they will be wishing they had paid attention to it a year from now. They are doing permanent damage at this point.

There were multiple warnings given before the previous thread was locked. Being constructive means having a civil discussion about the game. That's not what was happening. We will be very quick to lock this one if that continues.
We absolutely understand how frustrated many of you are with the changes to presentation and hate to see that happen. I can't state that enough. However, another lengthy thread isn't going to have a different outcome. We all want the previous presentation to return. Should that happen, or if I have any other details on this, they will be relayed here.I will participate in this thread for now, but there isn't any new information that I can share. Should this thread turn out like the other, we'll go back to keeping out of the conversation as our presence normally just makes things worse.

Fair enough , would you be able to give an example of posts that would be fine and ones that wouldn’t be so that way we have a guideline to follow to prevent the conversation from getting uncivil?

The Answers HQ rules can be found here. As long as you're not breaking these, your post should be good. We're fine with negative feedback so long as it's of the constructive criticism kind. When posts are more of a rant and trash talking the dev team, those aren't considered constructive. I get that everyone here is very passionate and that boils over, but angry rants don't carry near as much weight as someone detailing what their issues are in a civil manner. We've seen a lot of those as well as the former. Again, we know how you all feel. That's extremely apparent, but there's nothing else we can say about this currently.
- 3 years ago@EA_Aljo That is the first I am reading that EA actually wants the old, full presentation to return. That is something that would have been immensely constructive to mention before. We went from it was intentionally removed to we are aware of your displeasure before this.
