There already is an online pass assist slider. I'm cool with this one as pass aim can be pretty wild at times. We want to try to avoid having basic abilities being more frustrating than fun.

We have the opportunity to cancel passes using LB, couldn't we just get LB as an option to cancel shot as well?
I've thought the same thing. I'd love to see this happen.
@EA_Aljo That’s actually a fantastic idea. I imagine the hardest part to adding new features is making the button layout way too complex, but that’s definitely a more than reasonable way to cancel a shot.
