Re: Game is broken and so is support, what is going on?!

@EA_Aljo  Why should I go to social media when EA is a billion dollar company with a website that already has a dedicated help section and service advisors (or at least used to)???
Facebook and Twitter can't file a case and they're not obligated to provide your customer service

Apparently ping is still broken then because before it was "fixed" I was at 18ms. Afterwards usually 50ms and now Im at 22
I've gone through troubleshooting hundreds of times. I've hardwired and disabled wifi, it's still the same intermittent problems people have been complaining about for years and that people far smarter with network connection than I have traced using hundreds of dollars of equipment they should never have had to buy
People are saying there was a Central server that was activated and then removed, and that would make a ton of sense because now I'm playing against MTL people in about 85% of my games. We can only make these educated guesses because despite all the lip service about transparency and communication, you guys refuse to tell us things, you refuse to provide relevant details, and you refuse to cooperate with the player community to address our longstanding issues. I wish I could say it's the same story every year but it's not, it gets worse and worse and worse despite promises that it will improve.

    Our Facebook and Twitter support work for EA and have access to our case system.

    We'll watch for others that have sudden drops in ping and get them reported if we start seeing more of them.

    We have a central server and it's still active.

    We are always listening to feedback from the community. Some of is acted on, but obviously, not everything makes it into the game.

    @EA_Aljo And is there any type or case number or paper trail for interactions with these social media support members? Any oversight?
    How do you access them?
    What are their handles?
    How do you get their attention?
    Who do you speak to if you can't get a reply?
    Why isn't all of this listed clearly on the Help pages?

    How exactly do you "watch for others that have sudden ping drops"?
    Wouldn't it make sense to provide a centralized location for those experiencing such things to provide their information and generate a report?

    Here are just a few gems that pop up just searching "EA NHL" on Twitter...

    It is EXTREMELY frustrating as a longtime supporter of EA NHL since NHL 12 to see literally one of, if not, the worst games in the series in the form of #NHL23. When people, including their own gamechangers, are saying it’s worse than NHL 15… you have cataclysmically failed.

    By far this is the worst NHL game period. I will never buy another "EA" Sports (Especially NHL) for the rest of existence because of this years game. Shame on the for allowing you to put this crap out. #since92 #neveragain.

    @CFPlaysTV
    During the first event of NHL 22, EA changed sets mid event to make them more expensive after community feedback. Now, we have the most expensive sets/event ever and I just can’t imagine them changing that.

    Releasing the most pay to win event EVER during a time where the game barely works is honestly a slap in the face to all of the people who continue to support this franchise

    @Ohhwait7
    EA took what was an amazing game in NHL 13 and just [REDACTED] ruined it a little bit every year and now its a dumpster fire

    @XAVlERNWANKPA
    Lol ea is so awful man they should be jailed for releasing NHL 23

    Now, wouldn't you agree that it would be more productive for everyone if I seek help from the official EA websites rather than combing through a sea of Twittery??
