@SippomaisterI believe they will add it back.. in either NHL 24 or NHL 25.. once they can figure out a way to lock it behind a pay wall... You want this feature.. you can buy our "Special presentation edition"... They can't give it to us with the basic price and I'd guess they think it's an extra feature... EA community manager said that gameplay is all an NHL games needs... To make it a game.
To be clear, my words were twisted about this comment. I said that I personally prefer gameplay over presentation. That doesn't reflect the views of the team. This is a very good example of why there have been no responses from us on this thread as it's full of assumptions that aren't remotely true. I wanted to clear this up. As you can see, we all have our preferences. Yours is for presentation, mine is for gameplay, but that doesn't mean the entire team only prefers gameplay. If that were the case, there would be less presentation features.
We're still monitoring this thread. Just another reminder to keep things constructive so that it remains open.
The thing is there wouldn’t be as many “assumptions “ and speculation if clear, satisfiable and informative answers were given to why the full broadcast problem even exists in the first place. The only true answer we’ve gotten is that it was” intended” which if so that then begs the question why was it intended? That’s where the dialogue could have become more fleshed out if there was a willingness to do so.
Transparency is important and while I understand big brand companies usually like to keep things tight sometimes you’ve got to let loose and really give the customer a glimpse into the decision making behind the game especially if the decision is an extremely unpopular one.
