yes 14 was great and my last one before 23. 14 was great except for the gameplay unfortunately...too simple and too scripted. And I can say the same about 2k9, 2k10, 2k11. Presentation superb, gameplay not. Still, I don't understand why EA didn't make a RE-master nhl14 rather than the awful presentation in nhl23? Scoreboard is a joke. This is easily the worst scoreboard in any sports game. In NHL 94, there was a perfect scoreboard that also showed how the line was doing. 16-bit graphic beat "super big master hd 3d engine"...so mad. How simple and functional it was. And replays? I don't understand why EA doesn't just change the perspective, view of the game surface when replaying? What is the use of so many programmers who don't even bother to watch any sport on TV and replays?
EA devs: change camera view less zoomed. change from close to high. It is 5 minutes for programmers to next patch.

Have you tried changing your camera view in game? There are options for not being zoomed in.
- I mean replay. The camera view is too close to the player. We need more perspective.
In EA Hockey, the repeated shot action starts behind the goal and then moves to the players and then back to the goal.
In the TV broadcast, it is exactly the opposite. the camera starts following the player or the view behind the player, then moves to a side view towards the goal and then again to the shooting player and the goalkeeper and his intervention.
That's why I'm writing that it's enough for the programmer to just change the shots in nhl23. - EA_Aljo

I thinked re-play at the match if you score goal.
