@KlariskraysNHL checking works with truculence, it doesn't a large part of the time without it, which is why most players play with truculence as their ability.
I could have a 95 body checking attribute, get the hit bubble and miss on 50% of my checks but if I have the minimum body checking (76 I think? Been a long time since I've played) and have truculence on I can make 95% of my hits proc an animation.
