Community ManagerYeah. I definitely remember that. It happens every year. It takes a few weeks to adapt to the new gameplay. In this case, we've gotten used to timing our pokes better so the slow down from them is minimized.
Always ways around it, at least with 3v3 - The trick is to just stop poking entirely and focus on hitting since shot blocking and stuff doesn't really do much; With high enough stats you just break their legs every time.
On the flip side, you can just use a larger guy with L2 as an attacker and make the poke and smaller bumps useless.
This year eliminated most of the pointless spam that happened in years prior since there is a clear speed and control nerf when doing so. This "auto poke" only happens with the strange R3 click feature anyway, no? Much easier to use DSS and hold it there while sweeping
And please EA include the ability to control multiple(all 32) teams in franchise mode! Thanks.
