This Is Unacceptable! Here Is Why We Are Upset!
Clearly NHL 23 wasn't ready to be released! This game was charged full price at the launch date! It is very unprofessional the EA decided it was okay to sell a broken product with no obligation to fix these issues after. It's almost similar to selling a vehicle that a customer paid $30,000 or more for.. Once they get it they find out there are multiple issues with it just to feel ripped off of their hard earned money. Of course they will be upset and management is going to hear it! Much like how many EA NHL consumers are upset they paid for something that isn't going to be fixed any time soon. Despite the numerous feedback and videos they publish, just to be turned away as customers! As a sales associate/technician if I did that my termination contract would be hand given to me by HQ and I would rightfully deserve it.
I do get the whole NHL23 needs to come to a halt so NHL 24 requests can be met! Although if that was the case! Then EA NHL should have never released NHL 23 and just gave QOL updates to NHL 22! EA needs to meet the eye with their customers and give them a product worth their money! The suits really need to be more consumer focused and communication skills are needed highly from them! Some sort of empathy to be like oh hey " sorry we released a broken product! We will try out best to do better " or " To our valued customers! We apologize for the state of NHL 23, and unaddressed issues! Unfortunately we had to prioritize our focus on NHL 24. We are a small team that can't meet the challenges to fix issues with NHL 23 that community has requested! Hope to do better with our next release " You know any sort of customer engagement would be highly appreciated!
Instead it's vague and only time EA ever posts is when it's regarding HUT content or plays of the month... At least when Ben Ross was part of EA NHL he always communicated with us when we published videos on social media like Twitter. He went into detail why this and that, and if something wasn't right! He brought it up and went to try and get it fixed! Why? Because he cared about the product and customers. He hasn't worked on the game since NHL 21 sadly!
It is unacceptable to leave NHL 23 like this so early in the year. 24 is months away which the quality of life of the current game, is about to meet it's peak.
No more excuses!
