I have no doubt in my mind that they can program the game to tell when a player has decided to lay down on the ice in the offensive zone preventing anyone from taking the puck in or it's offsides. If your player is offsides 10 times in a 2 minute time period, the game should be able to kick them. Same with goalies...if the goalie leaves the net and skates around while the play is going on, they should be kicked. Taking your 5th interference penalty in the first period? Kicked.
The game can monitor a hundred different stats and events, so I refuse to believe that they can't monitor gameplay the same way and deal with the in-game trolling that goes on. Thing is, we've been beating this dead horse for years, and we get the same response every time. It's beyond frustrating.
100% agree.. I would do # of offsides OR tine spent offsides.
Goalies out of the net, or laying down.
Time spent holding the puck in their own offensive zone (ragging)
There's no reason all of these can't be punished. Kick them from the game and apply a cool down period for repeat offenses.
The game is extremely toxic. To the point where I highly doubt I will be buying it going forward. The game only gets like 4 updates and there's always exploits mediocre players that have basic hockey IQ take advantage. I'm sick of it.
This game is almost as toxic as LoL and Rust.
