- 2 years ago@LithiumCZ Since Aljo hasn’t replied I’ll give you some feedback on those three questions.
1) Triangle/Y is a hold puck command in anticipation of a save you can cover. Yes, you go into butterfly, but it’s not going to give you the same effect as L2/LT butterfly.
2) It’s momentum based solely on body movement. So a better chance to make a save when sliding in towards a shot that may come at you or go other side. Your momentum within the context of the direction.
3) The five hole stat simply affects likelihood of saving pucks that are shot five hole when you are in butterfly manually (greater improvement) or with the auto mechanic. If you are in motion it would only factor in if the the puck is shot and you aren’t in a push that would result in your legs opening.
Butterfly effect is best used when in that position, yes. And sliding is implied in the momentum aspect description.
