I never touch HUT, I refuse to play the money grab mode. My issues are all with EASHL and Be A Pro never getting an update.
EASHL is just a cesspool for toxicity, people with the racist names, people just being an all around a-hole without getting booted from games, human goalies (some of them, I've played with a lot of good human goalies) being allowed to just * around without getting booted. I would say give us a kick feature so we can kick the toxic players out, but idk if the NHL community is mature enough for that, the AI is an issue every year it seems, the zone abilities have killed the game, close quarters and truculance are AWFUL (And this is coming from someone that uses BOTH) goalies are horrible when trying to stop the puck against someone with CQ, not to mention most of the penalties. I'm sure people can add more to this as well.
AI is always gonna be terrible because it just takes like 1 person not playing their position properly for the AI to go all weird. I can't ever see the AI being something to rely on to save people from their mistakes.
The X-Factors sadly aren't going away and yes some of them are extremely powerful and need some balancing but we all have access to them so it's on even ground.
As for the people with names well just report them and move on. I personally don't let a name bother me.

The best experience is gonna be finding people to play organized 6s or 3s maybe if you like that craziness. Now a big problem with all of this is the lack of tools of finding like-minded people to form clubs which I hope gets addressed in the near future. Overall I personally enjoy playing EASHL because of the people I play with. Crazy a team oriented game is fun with friends/like-minded people.
- 3 years ago@KlariskraysNHL Drop ins doesn't have to be that way though, they should start implementing punishment for repeated toxic players, if someone gets booted repeatedly for bad play, time them out, if they repeatedly quit out, time them out.
- KlariskraysNHL3 years agoHero@RelentlessJ84 Drop-Ins isn't meant to be for the serious. It's nothing more than a stepping stone/beginners place. It's not like the old days of lobbies teaming up with like-minded people.
You can't punish someone who doesn't want to pass. You can't punish someone missing hits giving up breakaways. You could punish someone standing off-side for "x" amount of time. You could punish someone for taking too many penalties. Reason why we don't really need punishments is because there is zero system set in place to actually educate some people on off-sides, icings, etc. But selfish players will never be punished in Drop-ins. - Jammalammalam3 years agoSeasoned Veteran@KlariskraysNHL This is why I only play with P3's and P4's and above. 95% of the time I try to play with P1's and lower, it's a crap shoot. I'm competitive in all modes I play, but for the most part I play drops with randos. It's not a guarantee that you get decent players in drops, but the higher the P, the better chance you're going to find players that know what they are doing.
- 3 years ago@KlariskraysNHL Then there shouldn't be a ranking system for drop ins if it isn't meant to be serious. I don't mean the people that are selfish, I mean the people that take too many penalties, the people that continuously skate offside, continuously ice the puck, etc.

I'm curious if EA pays you or if you're just an alternate account because most of what you said is false. It's not hard to spot you when there aren't many on the forum.
