Not sure about poplarbay, but I've experienced the exact same thing, and I'm internal and already did the power cycle. It's in the code from the update as there were no issues with recording gameplay before that.

@EA_Aljo no, I'm hardwired, and it doesn't kick me to the NHL homescreen, which it does when I lose connection, it kicks me to my Xbox homescreen, total game crash.

3 times tonight while playing champs I was booted from the game, not just the match but the actual NHL 23 Game! It's really frustrating, and it was while I was trying to record as well.

Hi there, @poplarbay197 I'm not seeing other reports of this, but will watch out for them. Do you have the game installed on an internal or external hard drive? Also, I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

I've had this issue iin franchise mode mmediately after updating to last patch, but since then never happened again

Did you switch to those jerseys and then this started happening? If so, can you remove it and see if it still happens?

@EA_Aljo I was wearing those jerseys for a bit and it was around the same time, but I do y remember if they correlate the exact same time. I have switched them out already, but it was a change that I made around the same time. I'm just saying it could be related somehow.

@EA_Aljo Yea, just tried it during a squad battles and lasted about 35 seconds before it quit and again XBox screen. Played 8 SB yesterday, 7 Champs and no issues, but as soon I go to record...

Thanks for the update. At this point, I don't know what else to suggest other than not to record clips. I'll keep an eye out for other reports of this as well.

Xbox one, I noticed it either started from last weeks update or no more than a week before that.
It's not been as bad lately (hasn't even happened in a couple days), the day of the update and the few days following it was happening after like every clip capture. It sucked haha
