I was suspended for a week and now name is grayed out on my chel character and I can’t change the name.
I understand I can’t change name anymore after a suspension. But isn’t the name supposed to revert back to default Jordan NHL or whatever?
My character still has the name that I was banned for. I’m concerned about getting banned again for an offensive name but I have no ability to change it or reset it to default.

Community ManagerThis won't carry over to future games so you'll be good then as long as you choose a name that doesn't break the rules.
Hello, I play on PS and was recently suspended for 7 days for an in appropriate name. When the ban was lifted I went to change the name of my player but I could not. I was concerned because I didn’t want to get a ban or suspended again. I did some research and found this thread. You had stated that my club still sees my name that I was banned for, but it would appear as Jordan NHL to anyone else (I am not trying to place blame on you for any kind of misinformation, I’m just stating that I previously referenced this thread in regard to this issue). My account was recently banned for inappropriate player name again, and I believe this ban is permanent. I recorded a clip of me trying to change the player name, and each time I would get an error saying that the name was inappropriate. I believed this was due to the glitch that was mentioned in this thread. I submitted a dispute with EA but it was upheld. So now I cannot access anything in NHL games and most upsettingly, Apex legends. The worst part, and I’m sure everybody says this as some sort of excuse or cop out so it just sounds like I’m lying, is that I honestly was not the one who changed the player name in the first place. If there is anything you can do to help me I would greatly appreciate it. If you need any information from me, please let me know. Thank you.

I read in the community notes from a community manager that this is a known issue and only people in your club can see your previously banned name. I have people not in my club telling me they can see my previously banned name still. Can you help me out so I don’t get banned again when it’s not my fault?
I was banned for a 2nd time for the same name. Problem is, my last ban a few weeks ago was only 3 days. When I went back on the game it doesn't allow me to change it. Now I'm banned again permanently foe the same name I literally can't change. This is totap BS.
