Thanks for reaching out. Which controllers are you using? Are they official ones or 3rd party? Are they wired or wireless? Also, is your online connection wired or wireless?
First party wireless Xbox controller. Internet hardwired.

Is the firmware for the controller up to date? You can check this under Devices & connections > Controllers & headsets. Click on the icon with the 3 buttons and see if an update is available.
