@EA_Aljo I'm surprised this was changed just to accommodate the pressure system. This just cripples defense even more, especially on the penalty kill. I thought the pressure system rewarded puck control and shots in the zone? If you lose control of the puck on the power play, why should the defending team be penalized for that? In the NHL, this is something players can do quite easily, and quickly, even if they are on a long shift, it is crucial for those players as well to quell the pressure of the attacking team on the PK.
Taking this out for this reason, to make offense easier, is an odd decision. Defensive tools need to stop being nerfed while offense gets boosted every year. Offense gets one button dekes, defense gets a modification to checking and a limp dump. Whether we adjust or not, if you have a computer player, they have the same problem, and most times it results in a turn over. I'm glad the team is aware of it and hopefully there is a fix for this. We shouldn't have to charge up for a few seconds to dump the puck.
