@SummerOfDekes So, as a goalie in WoC, I haven't found this to be too much of a problem. Just gotta keep the puck tracked and play at the top of your crease when you can. Also, if you're going down in butterfly, use Y or triangle. Don't bother with the trigger.
- MarvnZindler2 years agoNew Ace@SemiUsual I only use Y when I want to go to butterfly as it has the added benefit of covering the puck if there's a rebound. If you watch the video, you can see I tracked the puck and stayed with the shooter. The problem isn't not making the save, cause I DID make the initial save. The problem is after the shot, my goalie rotates his entire body which opens up the net and let's the rebound go by.

@EA_Aljo just wanted to add another clip illustrating the issue with goalies facing the puck. Now, you can't see the placement of the shot in this clip due to the camera angle, but suffice it to say that the puck was placed perfectly top corner, so the goal may have been scored anyway. Still, the point is that the goalie is rotating to face the puck which ends up letting pucks go by.- EA_Aljo2 years ago
