There really shouldn’t be any reason EA can’t assign players from this years draft to their teams when the players are already in the game.
At least he is on Chicago for Franchise Mode.In previous games they wait about a week after the season starts to update the rosters.he reason: The NHLPA.
Reason is EA. The NHLPA is why they can’t add players who aren’t in the game, but EA is the reason the rosters aren’t up to date.
He’s a part of the Blackhawks when you start a franchise mode and previous versions of the game have had drafted players at launch even before the regular season started.Agreed. This is 100% on EA. If it was an NHLPA issue he wouldn't be in the game at all.
Release a damn roster update already, EA. We are a week into the NHL season now and the "current" downloadable roster was released on September 28th ffs...
It’s been over a week now and yet one of the most talked about players in NHL history is still not on the roster of his professional team. This will be the last year I buy this product after nearly 2 decades. With all your woke *… trying to shove women in every facet of the game is ridiculous. A female side reporter, and a female announcer with an annoying Canadian accent and a black and Asian female referee?? GTFO 😂😂
it’s not that I don’t want women being a part of the EA NHL, it’s the fact that you went so overboard with all of it.

A roster update was just announced to be released with the patch tomorrow.
Looks like it’s not an official “patch”, just an update for WOC Matchmaking.

There’s a way to do it yourself. Go to Rosters, Player Movement, find the Regina team in the WHL and then move Bedard over to the Blackhawks. The only issue with this is his current attributes travel with him. He’s likely to have his attributes changed a little, possibly giving him a higher OVR after the roster update from EA.
