I really think being able to turn off this particular feature of the game would be great. In my opinion this voice and broadcaster is more annoying than any other in any sports game i have ever play...

You can turn off the commentary in the audio settings. It turns off all the commentary though. Not just James.
i've tried that and he still yammers on and on. Does not disable this feature.

Turn the commentary volume to 0. It definitely works because I do it every night when the wife is sleeping.

As @Stubo_NHL24 mentioned, just turn the volume to 0 for commentary. I have mine turned off as well.

- @Sgt_JPP That's not true. I turn my commentary off and there's nothing. Sometimes I even do the 'goal only' option and the commentator team only kicks in to talk about goals. It's very simple and works as intended on PS5.
Not sure about EASHL or those whacky arcade modes, though. Don't they have a different play-by-play guy alltogether? (equally as cringe, I might add)well im glad you guys got him to shut up commentary off and volume for it down to zero and after every freaking game there that voice is being grating like a cheese grater on my eardrums.
