Happy Holidays to you, I hope yours was good and safe and healthy. Just a question or two.
1. Are Devs looking into the broadcast name going back to A.J even when you change it to your desired name? Even if you fix your name and you save the settings. If you come right back to edit player, AJ is back to being the default name. Is this being looked at.
2. Goalie controls not saving in BAP. Every single game as soon as the puck drops, I have to pause the game and go to control settings and disable tethering. This is ONLY on BAP once you loaded your desired season. However the control settings does appear to save on the Main screen, but those settings do not carry over to your BAP season. Is this being looked into?
I ask these two questions because they are the most annoying parts to the game. And I know that after January there will be no more updates or patches since you will be moving onto NHL 25.
Just one other note, when you play BAP goalie, if you are hugging the post and you move to the other post, my goalie will instantly go back to the original post. So say Im on the left post and the puck is moving left to right.. My goalie moves to the right post, only to mysteriously go back to the left. Is this my controller issue? I have two controllers, 1 Elite and 1 standard Xbox controller and the goalie will do this with both of them. Just seeing if anyone has looked into that.

Set covers to auto, or hold Y to perform a manual cover. In this clip, it appears covers have been set to manual, and the user controlling the goalie is failing to send that input.
It sucks that a puck squeaks through like that, but pucks squeak through goalies all the time when they're not sure where it is and don't take the proper actions to limit a bad outcome.
Bs. The puck cover IS set to on. If you played goalie, you would know that pressing Y in this situation often doesn't do anything because the ai aspect of the goalie can't figure out which animation to resolve to, which is why the goalie is just twitching and not doing anything.
In any event, the bigger issue is that on a build with 90 rebound control, goalies can't just simply gather a puck that hits them right in the chest on an easy shot with no screen. No, instead, the goalie has to bobble the puck until it bounces around his pads and into the net. That's stupid.

I do play goalie. When puck covers were set to auto, I'd see this sequence play out a number of times. Switched to manual, problem solved.
I appreciate that, thank you. Like I said, the controller settings save when you’re on the main screen and you can change settings. However, once you get to your BAP season or file, the controller settings doesn’t carry over. When I start my game (BAP goalie). I have to go to controller settings and redo my controller settings.
And of course, you know about the broadcast name.

Is the CCM JetSpeed FT6 Pro graphic ever going to make it into the game? The stick is still the FT4 Pro.
Also the AI is IDIOTIC in at least BAP (the only mode I play so I can't speak for the rest of the modes) if the team on offense loses any possession of the puck, the entire line immediately leaves the zone, and the AI also will not try to go behind the net to defend you.
Will we get an update that fixes Vision Control, so I no longer hit people and draw interference penalties all the time? Holding LT/L2 holds no other use during that part of a play, and it worked flawlessly in NHL 23 and previous, so there's no reason not to have it in 24...
